This menu contains commands for performing computations and generating output for reports.
Properties | For sections, computes and displays full and net section properties. Not available for analyses. See Properties Report. |
Effective Properties | For sections, you are prompted for the load magnitudes used to calculate effective section properties. Not available for analyses. See Effective Properties. |
Strength | For sections, computes and displays the strength of a fully braced member for tension, compression, bending about X and Y axes, and shear. Not available for analyses. See Strength Report. |
Member Check | For sections, you are prompted for member parameters and loads, and subsequently the member check computations are displayed. For an analysis, you are prompted for the locations to perform member checks, and subsequently the member check computations are displayed. |
Web Crippling | For sections, you are prompted for web crippling parameters and loads, and subsequently the web crippling computations are displayed. For an analysis, you are prompted for the locations to perform web crippling checks, and subsequently the web crippling computations are displayed. |
Torsion Properties | For sections with one part, you may compute detailed torsion properties of the shape. For each element in the part, the values Ro, Wn, and Sw are reported at the start and end, as well as any minima or maxima for Sw. This report also provides the resulting computed values for shear center and torsion constants. |
Elastic Buckling | For sections with one part, you may perform a finite element elastic buckling analysis. See Elastic Buckling Parameters. |
Diagrams | For an analysis, you may display and print shear, moment, and deflection diagrams for the current load combination, for either the X or Y direction. See Analysis Diagrams. |
